These are the steps I take to ensure your product design comes out perfect.
The importance of understanding your users in order to create effective and user-friendly designs in UI/UX design should not be understated. That's where design research and discovery comes in. Conducting user interviews is a key part of my process, this allows me to get a deep understanding of the user's perspective and identify areas for improvement.
Upon conducting my user research interviews and discovery, I create a moodboard that will help inspire my design thinking. After creating a moodboard, I begin to sketch various design ideas. After sketching, I design low-fidelity wireframes to show to the client/team for feedback and go-ahead for the high-fidelity design.
After implementing the feedback gotten from the stakeholders, I begin to design detailed and realistic visual and interactive elements in the design of the user interface, based on the response gotten during the user research interview phase. This approach to design aims to create a highly immersive and engaging user experience by accurately representing the final product as closely as possible. In this stage, I design mockups, prototypes, and interactive wireframes that closely resemble the finished product, allowing both me and the client/team to get a clear understanding of how the product will look and function.
Upon completion of user testing and different iterations of the hi-fi design, I run a robust handover process that makes it easy for the developer(s) to implement my design solution. My process involves providing the developer with all necessary design assets, such as mockups, wireframes, and style guides. I also provide clear and concise instructions on how the design should be implemented. I place utmost importance in communication between myself and the developer to ensure that the final product accurately reflects the intended design.
